01

The origin

From conversation, to broadcast.

The original concept for Qadsiya TV began during discussions held inside my office in Salmiya Blajat.

What started as conversations around the future of football media eventually became a functioning private football television channel connected directly to the identity and daily rhythm of Qadsiya Club.

The responsibility extended beyond production alone. The challenge was transforming ideas into an operational television environment capable of handling programming, filming, directing, media coordination and daily broadcast execution.

02

The people

Building the team.

One of the most important parts of the process was assembling the media team itself.

Through relationships developed across Kuwait’s television and production industry, experienced names in directing, cinematography and broadcast production were brought together to help establish the channel professionally from the beginning.

The goal was not simply to produce content, but to create a serious football media platform capable of operating with consistency, identity and production quality.

03

The room

A forgotten room, turned studio.

Inside the basketball hall of Qadsiya Club, beneath Hilal Fajhan Al-Mutairi Hall, an old storage space was transformed into a functioning television studio.

The environment was redesigned and rebuilt into the set of Diwaniya Qadsiya. Programs, interviews, athlete coverage and promotional productions were developed inside that space, turning a forgotten room into an active football broadcast studio.

04

The desk

Live production, in real time.

The production workflow relied heavily on manual live coordination.

The experience created a deeper understanding of timing, rhythm and storytelling inside live broadcast environments.

05

The work

The productions, on air.

In closing

Before the cinematic work, there was live broadcast.

Long before cinematic experimentation and AI assisted filmmaking, there was live production, pressure, movement, and the responsibility of keeping a channel on air every day.

Some of those moments belonged to football.

Some belonged to a city.

And some only survived because someone kept the camera rolling.
