The film was created to accompany the book, not to replace it.

Its purpose is to translate testimony into moving images while remaining respectful of the historical events and the people connected to them. The project aims to:

  • Introduce the history of Kamp Rees to a wider audience.
  • Support educational and cultural presentations.
  • Create a visual companion to the book.
  • Preserve a quiet and respectful tone throughout.

The film accompanies the book. It does not replace it.
